Usage Counter Data & Minimal Logging

In order to better understand usage trends and improve the service, does.network employs a minimal logging mechanism. This logging feature records only two pieces of information:

• UTC Timestamp: The date and time (in UTC) when the service was accessed, recorded in a human‐readable format (e.g. 2025-02-07 19:32:49).
• Approximate Location: A rough estimation of your location (city, region, and country) based on your IP address, obtained via a public IP lookup service. For example, the location might be reported as "Fazakerley, England, United Kingdom".

Please note that:

• IP Address Not Stored: Your full IP address is used solely to perform the lookup and is not logged or stored by does.network.
• Data Minimization: Only the UTC timestamp and an approximate location are stored, ensuring that no personally identifiable information is retained. This approach reflects our commitment to data minimization.
• Legal Basis: This logging is carried out under the legitimate interest of monitoring and improving the performance of our service. No personal data is stored or processed beyond the abovementioned.
